Two Blondes on a Build Story #14 Framing up the roof of our eco home

Hello friends,

Greetings from a half-finished house on a rock in a forest on a small island in the Salish Sea. How are you dong today? We are fine and keeping busy while we are waiting for spring to finally arrive.

Here is another video blog about our eco build. In this episode, we show you a glimpse of how we framed up the roof. I hope you enjoy this video.

The music I chose for this video

As usual, I raided the YouTube audio library for musical accompaniment to our build shenanigans and they appear in the following order:

  1. Your Love by Yung Logos
  2. Rain drops by TrackTribe
  3. Snowfall Butterflies by Asher Fulero
  4. No.4 Piano Journey by Esther Abrami
  5. Monkeys are Coming by Coyote Hearing
  6. Little Samba by Quincas Moreira

Do feel free to leave comments or questions below the video in the comments section and we will do our best to answer them as soon as we can.

Thank you for watching, liking, sharing and commenting! We love to hear from you. I will post up more episodes very soon.

For now, take good care of yourselves.

Peace and love,

Sarah x (Go-For and expert tea-maker)

  1. Impressive Sarah! You are beyond handy. I picked up a little bit of light handiness being a house sitter for the past 9 years out of necessity. Overall, my dad did little housework so never grew up around and learned from someone with some skills. We did have relatives – brother in law, etc – who did quite a bit of work around the house.
